Waratah Track in Kuringai Chase NP

It was our last week hiking West Head tracks last week, and it has been thoroughly enjoyable!

We took off at 3pm, Clare with two kids in tow – literally, being towed in a Chariot pram!

Barbara and Deb began the track early, in order to take pictures and not feel the pressure of having to keep up.

It took us a full hour to catch them!

The terrain was rocky and muddy, with some severe hills – it took two of us to pull/push the kids up, and two of us to lower them down.

Then end of the track came up unexpectedly, onto a rocky platform with another fantastic view!

The way home was moderately easier. Made even more so by Karyn and Dave taking over the pram from me! Thanks guys!
